How do you practice music effectively on your own during Christmas?

We are taking a Christmas break, which means that if you are a musician with us, you will go for a period without lessons. So how do you make the most out of practicing on your own?

• Our guitar teacher and administrator Emmanuel will share his best practice tips and answer any questions you may have.
• This is about practice and methodology in general, so it doesn't matter what istrument you play.
• You're welcome to join regardless of whether you're a member or not.

17 Dec - Open Mic in Gamla Stan  (STOCKHOLM)

November 12 at 19:00-22:00 we’ll gather for the final excursion for this term to one of the more authentic pubs in Gamla Stan (Stockholm Old Town). There will be opportunities (but no expectation nor pressure!) to play and sing acoustic material - either trying out your own songs or perhaps helping someone out with an old classic!

This is just a great opportunity to meet other members over a pint and finish the term together!

Open Stage at Rockskolan Stockholm - June 8

Come and join us at our Open Stage at Bryggargatan 5 in Stockholm on 8th June! Members, future members, friends and family are all welcome to join to try out performing, jamming, backing other performers in a laid back environment, or to just hang out in the lounge and mingle with the rest of us at Rockskolan.

Doors open at 17:00. The age limit for this event is 18+, as there will be a bar at the event.

Put yourself and your company on the guest list and we'll see you there!

End of term-Concert with Rockskolan Lund on June 7th

Join us at Hemgården i Lund to see performances from some of our amazing members! The concert will include a live performance from FACTOTUM, a band formed by members of Rockskolan's Basic Program, in which members learn the basics of rock instruments, songwriting, and music production.  Come along if you would like to see what other members have been working on, meet other musicians, and get inspired!

All members of Rockskolan in Lund, Malmö and Staffanstorp are warmly invited to perform, and can sign up here
