The bass lessons will start with the music you want to play, and those situations in your musical life you need help with. If you are playing in a funk band we will teach you slapping, if you play metal we might be talking more about picking techniques and if you need to use a synth bass we will help you out with the moog. Playing the bass is a way of thinking, quite similar to singing the bass-harmony in a choir. We will be focusing on you, your technique, your understanding, your listening and your creativity with all the possibilities at hand to develop your own sound. We will start with you goals and ambitions, but we will always try to challenge you to try new things.4, 5 or 6 strings?
If you play in a band where the guitars are tuned down, you might need an extra string. If you want to have a lot of possibilities as a solo player - you might even be worth a 6th string.
